Basic information and HistoryThe Mercedes SL "R107" is a very popular and classic model series from Mercedes that many recognize from Hollywood movies and TV series, and is one of the models that has been produced for the longest time - a full 18 years with relatively few changes over the years. The only model from Mercedes that has been produced for a longer period of time is the Geländewagen.This example was sold new in the USA, specifically in California, which was also one of the model's main markets, and was imported to Sweden in 2020 when it was sold by Autoclassica to the current - and only - user in Sweden. It is a very nice and good looking roadster with great potential for future owners and is ready to spend a long and hot summer on the roads.Equipment and general information

ConditionExterior: The seller says that the car is in good used condition with great potential, no major damages/dents on the body, but there are a large number of stone chips in the front and at the fenders, e.g. On the whole, the car presents itself well otherwise with the nice original rims and also the almost completely new fabric roof that was changed in 2020. The upholstery has some wear, as does the original steering wheel and dashboard. All controls and gauges work and there is a more modern stereo fitted with Blaupunkt speakers. For more info, please see our detailed photos in the album and feel free to ask questions in the comment field!Mechanics: The car runs fine in both engine and gearbox and last service and major review was done in 2020 by recognized Kareby Motor. Then all the vacuum hoses were also replaced and the driveline received a major overhaul. The car is exempt from inspection and all brakes and tires are in good condition and without any complaints.
