Background and History
A very well-documented Swedish-sold Mercedes-Benz 200/8 that was sold new by Philipson's car.

Same owner from 1972 until 2022 where the receipt from the day of purchase remains.

It comes a lot of saved documents from the past years. Always been kept in a garage since previous owner stopped driving in 2007 due to his old age, today he is 100 years old. Last year the car was taken out of the garage, largely original and untouched.

During 2022/2023, the new owner has carried out a proper service of the car.

The car works flawlessly and starts immediately.

Equipment and accessories
Original Blaupunkt Radio fitted

Condition
The entire interior has been taken out (see photo material) and everything was cleaned, the seller confirms that no rust was found under the carpets. New fabric on the chairs and back seat has been sewn up because it was previously sun-bleached, otherwise, everything is original. The car has also received a real reconditioning both exterior and interior.

The car is in very good condition mechanically and with a fantastic history with only one previous owner. The front fenders have most likely been replaced in connection with an incident in 1989 when the front fenders changed color compared to the other panels. (Can be found documented under documentation).

The seller has noted cracks in the steering wheel and refers to the image material. Of course, there are beauty spots on the body that are well documented under the image material.

The engine and gearbox are Matching numbers.

Service
As the car had been sitting for a longer period, a thorough start-up of the process was carried out, which took 2 months to complete. A major service was carried out where the brake caliper was changed, the gas tank was drained, spark plugs were changed, a new fuel filter, oil, and oil filter, new tires with white stripes were fitted and balanced, and original caps are fitted. A lot of time and money and time has been invested.

Summary
This a unique opportunity to buy a Swedish-sold classic from Mercedes, which with its solid documentation and amazingly low ownership history makes it a unique car that can also be used. Incredibly easy to drive where you really feel Mercedes' high quality right through.
