Basic information and HistoryThe Lincoln Continental was the brand's flagship for many years, and the 5th generation brought a new angular design language to Lincoln that lasted until the end of the 80s. This example is a 1977 model that received a facelift in 1975 with an even more angular design language and some changes to, among other things, the powertrain. It was also one of the last years that the trusty 460ci engine was offered before it was only possible to order the model with the smaller, but more fuel-efficient 400 engine.The car came to Sweden in 2022 from Norway where it spent a large part of its life and was well cared for by its previous owners. ConditionExterior:The seller says that the car has been well taken care of and is original and stainless in the body. The car presents itself well apart from a couple of minor marks in the paint and vinyl roof. No known defects on engine, box or drivetrain. The engine is original except for a retrofit injection system from the renowned Holly for more power, cleaner running and better fuel consumption. There is also a Holley Hyperspark distributor fitted with new gauges that show all values. Inspected without remarks March 2022.
