Introduced in 1983, the Jaguar XJ-SC was Jaguar's first attempt to offer an open version of the XJ-S. It featured a removable roof panel that could be stored in the trunk, turning the car into a semi-convertible.
The 1987 Jaguar XJ-SC, as with other model years, retained the elegant design of the XJ-S coupe.
Under the hood is a 5.3-liter V12 engine, which produced approximately 262 horsepower and approximately 390 nm of torque.
