One of the great rewards of owning a first generation Thunderbird is that many people admit that they are simply proud to be seen in this American classic. 1957 was the final year for the original generation two-passenger Thunderbird. In 1958, it would accommodate four passengers. This ’57 is a beautiful example of the Ford Thunderbird D-Code. Imported from the USA in 2018 with only one owner in Sweden.

 

This Thunderbird is incredibly eye-catching with its nice light blue exterior and is in generally good condition with a proper hardtop and beautiful spoked rims. All the chrome on the Thunderbird is well preserved despite its age; however there are paint chips. Most likely it has been repainted in the USA and fitted with a non-original coni kit.

 

With the beautiful blue and white leather upholstery makes a good first impression and matches the exterior well. The seat is a little rubbed and when the cab folds up at the back there is a small hole, as well as worn window trim. Equipped with power windows.

 

312 CID V8 engine with 248 horses that runs well. 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts as it should. D-Code engine with 4 port carburetor.

 

Only used during the summer with no issues. 

 

The car is exempt from inspection. Service book is not available. Correct odometer cannot be confirmed. Last inspection performed was 2018-08-15.Odometer reading 10328 miles
