Basic information and history

Domestically sold Ford Falcon Futura Convertible from 1963 with 92,420 km on the odometer. It is not clear whether the meter has rolled one revolution or not. The car was completely renovated in the early 90s and is today in a nice working condition, ready to be enjoyed!

Condition

The general condition of the body is described as very good and the owner informs that there is a small dent on the right rear fender with loose paint, by the tail light. The paintwork has a good luster and is in good condition, although the red color may fade over the years. There are some small stone chips in the front and on the hood, a small repair under the right headlight, some marks and bubbles around the wheel arches, minor paint chips around beams and a mark on the left front fender. Surface rust is visible on some of the paint chips. Glass panes are described as being in good condition. Chrome and moldings in very good condition. Front headlight glass is fine but back has cracks in it. Rims in a fine condition with new tires fitted in 2022. Despite remarks, the car gives a very good overall impression.

The condition of the interior is described as very good except for the carpet which is slightly worn. Seat surfaces are undamaged, however with normal wear and tear such as marks from the folding driver's seat. Door panels in good condition. Step strips with normal wear. Convertible top in good condition with no tears or damage. Steering wheel, buttons and controls in very good condition. Stereo from the 90s is installed. All functions and electronics in the passenger compartment work as they should.

Engine is described as being in good condition. The automatic transmission and drivetrain work flawlessly. All brake parts were renovated in 2021. Mechanically, everything works as it should.

In the spring of 2024, the car was serviced. Last inspection was carried out on 2022-10-13.

Summary

Very sparingly used Ford Falcon Futura sold new in Sweden in 1963. Low mileage and a nice used condition, ready to be enjoyed!
