Basic information and history

Domestically sold Ford Consul from 1959 which only had 13 owners over the years. It is not possible to ascertain how many of these are actually users versus traders. According to the owner, the odometer reading is 140318km, i.e. turned one revolution, but cannot be guaranteed. The first Consul model rolled out back in 1950 and was built until '56 when the MK2 was introduced. The second generation Consul got a bigger engine and new body lines and was built until 1962. The car comes in a very nice well-preserved stainless condition with the original paintwork remaining.
