Basic information and History
Here we have a Monark Crescent Compact that the seller had renovated under his own supervision. When it was bought, it was not complete and most of the parts came in a box. The frame was freshly painted so there was a good foundation to start building on.
In 2022, the renovation began to gain momentum and the moped was repowered. A 60cc cylinder was fitted with a 17mm carburettor. The result was a really lively and nimble Compact!
Equipment and Options
60 Cubic German cylinder
17 mm carburettor
Newly painted frame
New saddle
2-speed Sach-Motor
New tires
New panel covers
New rims
New chain
Condition
Recently renovated so the condition is very good. The seller refers to the image material for more details about the condition.
The tires have a tread depth of approx. 5 mm according to the seller.
The seller has noted that on the left side of the brake light part of the glass is missing. As well as the cover for the kick is defective but does not affect its function.
Steering lock is not mounted.
Service history
Recently inspected and serviced by the seller himself in 2022. The engine has run approx. 2,000 km after refurbishment.
Summary
A classic MCB Compact with a little extra power in it. The seller bought it from the beginning when he felt the eager to renovate, but as there are other projects to be completed, the seller chooses to auction this fine example to someone who shares the same passion for vintage mopeds.
