Basic information and history
The Chevrolet 210, or Two-Ten, was produced between 1953 and 1957 and replaced the Styleline DeLuxe series. In 54 and 55, the model was Chevrolet's best seller with its balance between pricing, luxury and comfort. This compared to the more luxuriously appointed Bel-Air. The model is in demand today for exactly the same reason. This specimen was purchased by the current owner 15 years ago in Austria. The car was driven home and has since been on several European trips. The car has been modernized and SFRO-approved and well looked after over the years.
Equipment and options
The car has undergone a large number of modernizations, such as;
- Chevrolet LT1 350 from 1995
- 1995 TH700 automatic transmission
- Dual circuit brakes with discs
- Anti-roll bars and progressive springs
- Low beam automatic
- Retro stereo with upgraded sound
Condition
The car is described by the current owner as being in a very nice and user-friendly condition. The car received new paint 10 years ago and today has minimal wear. The car is also described as stainless. Chrome, moldings and details look fine and come with minimal if any complaints. Headlights and other lighting is also in good condition. American Racing rims are in good condition and come with approx. 6mm remaining pattern depth.
The interior of the car is also in good condition. The interior was replaced for approx. 14 years ago according to the owner, then to original design. Material on both the seats and door sides is fine and without remark. Instrument panel and controls are also in good condition, however the trip meter does not work. Windshield wipers are rebuilt and now have intervals. Even the inner ceiling is nice and sits where it should. Summarized as fine condition without major remarks.
Mechanically, the car is described as very well functioning. Renovations have been carried out continuously over the years by the current owners. Engine and gearbox come from a Chevrolet Corvette from the 90s. No leaks are noted and under the hood the engine compartment and parts look nice and clean. Underneath there is nothing to comment on. It is clean, neat and free of rust.

Service history
According to the current owner, the car has never been in a run down condition and appears to have been well taken care of over the years. Last service was performed for approx. 80 miles ago by current owner. Previous service records are not available, but the condition speaks for itself.
Summary
A perfect combination of the great American 50s and the more modern 90s. Stylish, easy-to-drive and fantastically enjoyable resto mod!
