Condition

The body is described as being in a newly refurbished condition. The entire car has been repainted in its original color, 072 Taiga metallic. The condition today is very good and since the renovation was carried out the car has not been driven far. Many original parts have been reused and with patina in their places. Chrome and moldings are in good used condition. Lantern glass and glass panes are in good condition. The rims are in very good condition with no damage and have had new tires fitted. A car that gives a very good overall impression and perfect for those who like older classic BMWs.

The interior has patina from years gone by but is overall in good used condition. The driver's seat is worn but a fully cloth seat is available. Steering wheel, buttons and controls in usable condition. The dashboard is free of typical dry cracks, which is a plus and not quite common on these cars. Interior roof with patina but sits where it should.

The engine has been lifted out of the car and completely renovated. Among other things, it has received new belts and chains, flat top, gaskets, all electronics, water pump, radiator and more. The car can now be driven on lead-free fuel. The chassis has had a new rear suspension, dampers, hoses, brake pipes and brakes replaced with new parts. The tank has also been changed to one in good condition. Mechanically, the car works very well.

Service history

Previous history is not available, but it is an excellent opportunity to start building documentation and history when the car is finally allowed to hit our roads again. When inspecting the car, the inspection man reminded to tighten the brake pipes and water hoses an extra time, for safety reasons. Worth mentioning is that there are a lot of photos from the renovation that was carried out.

Summary
