Basic information and history

2015 is the debut year of the Mercedes-AMG GT S, an uncompromising sports car that really took the fight to Porsche 911 and Aston Martin Vantage on the world's sports car scene. The AMG GT S offers a classic GT silhouette with a front-mid mounted V8 Biturbo (in front of the driver but behind the front axle), rear-wheel drive and an advanced dual-clutch transmission in a transaxle layout. The model has already become a cult classic and is one of the most sought-after items among purists and collectors.

This example is a German import that was originally sold via Factory Sales in Germany. The car was brought home to Sweden through an agent at Importbil.se, where special attention was paid to ensuring both the car's condition and documentation.

The odometer reading is only 57,900 km (guaranteed!), and the car has had two previous owners . For the inquisitive car enthusiast, there is extensive background material – including a German Brief – which makes the history transparent and serious.

The seller had been looking for a GT S with this specification for a long time: Fire Opal Red over black/microfiber interior, AMG ceramic brakes , full carbon fiber package (both exterior and interior), AMG Performance Seats , correct 19/20” rims, extended leather and an extensive equipment list.

The car was delivered to Sweden in the spring of 2025, but due to a delayed origin check, it was not registered until late August. Since then, it has been used sparingly.

The car is completely factory finished. Front and rear headlight lenses have protective film against stone chips. Sought after factory options such as ceramic brakes and carbon exterior make this a unique and highly desirable example for the collector and driver.

Condition

Body & Exterior: The paint is in very good condition thanks to indoor storage, with depth and clarity remaining. A few stone chips in the front, some on the hood and sides but nothing distinctive. Chrome, moldings and emblems in very good condition. No scratches or stone chips on glass surfaces. Headlights and taillights have clear stone chip film for extra protection. See pictures!

Interior: The AMG Performance seats in black microfiber/artificial leather are in excellent condition, with minimal signs of wear. The Alcantara steering wheel has some patina but no wear. The headliner is in perfect condition; the panoramic glass roof has no complaints.

Tires & Rims: Original AMG rims (19/20”) are in good condition, and the tires have a lot of tread depth left (the car was fitted with new summer tires when imported).

Mechanics & Function: Driveline and engine are in top condition. V8 Biturbo (designation M178) without leaks or noises and is adorned with a small plaque with the installer's signature. Ceramic brakes have barely visible wear and, according to reports, provide flawless braking performance. The box is distinctive and the paddles are described as having excellent shifting feel. Electronic functions are tested and fully functional.

Service history

Fully documented service history since new (incl. German Brief and Swedish documents), carried out according to the manufacturer's recommendation at an authorized Mercedes workshop. The service book is complete and all service records and receipts are included.
