Basic information and history
The 2004 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter belongs to the T1N generation, a platform appreciated by enthusiasts for its rational design, proven CDI diesel technology and strong adaptability. Four-wheel-drive examples are sought after as a base for overlanding and camper builds thanks to a robust driveline, low-range gearing and good ground clearance.
This example was imported from Germany and is configured as a campervan with a focus on functionality in Nordic climates. The seller states the odometer at approx. 247,800 kilometres, guaranteed as per the form. Major drivetrain work has been carried out at approximately 120,000 km, 140,000 km and 170,000 km. The vehicle has mainly been used in Åre and on Gotland in event contexts.
This example is lifted, has a roof rack and two powerful forward-facing LED lights. The body was repainted in conjunction with insulation work and Tectyl-treated on the sides. Inside there is heating, a kitchen and a shore-power hookup for year-round use.

Modifications and improvements: Lift kit with uprated dampers and off-road tires. Extra LED lights up front. Roof rack. Interior rebuild and expansion with insulation, heating, kitchen and electrics. According to the seller, the front axle was replaced at approximately 120,000 km, the transfer case at approximately 140,000 km, and a complete engine rebuild was performed at approximately 170,000 km.
Condition
Body and exterior: The body was repainted in connection with the insulation. There are stone chips on the bonnet with minor rust. The seller notes a small amount of rust for the model, mainly at the hinges under the bonnet as well as from the stone chips on the bonnet. Some dents and signs of use are present; see photo documentation. The left front indicator lens is missing. On the right rear light, a bulb sometimes jumps out of its seat in the lens. Tectyl treatment has been performed on the body sides. The windscreen may have stone chips.
Interior: Normal wear commensurate with use. The aftermarket screen for CarPlay and the reversing camera has resulted in drilled holes in the dashboard. The headliner is in good condition with no sagging. Steering wheel, controls and switches show normal signs of use; see photos.
Tires and wheels: Off-road tires in good condition as stated.
Mechanical and electrical: The engine runs very well according to the seller. Brakes reported without remarks. Gearbox and driveline function as they should, including selectable four-wheel drive with high and low range and locking differential. The central locking appears not to work, if the car is equipped with it. Not all exterior lights are currently functioning due to the missing indicator lens and the rear light mounting noted above.
Service history
Most recent service: On 2025-05-30 a major service was carried out according to the seller, with replacement of engine oil, oil in all differentials, left- and right-front brake lines, brake fluid, left- and right-front CV boots, and replacement of low-beam bulbs. The car is currently uninspected but will, of course, be delivered freshly inspected.
Previous work as stated: Front axle replaced at approximately 120,000 km, transfer case replaced at approximately 140,000 km, and a complete engine overhaul at approximately 170,000 km.
Documentation: The seller states that previous service records and receipts are missing.
