Basic Information and History

The Mercedes-Benz 380 SL, imported from the USA, is a fine example that was brought to Sweden in 2009. Since 2019, the car has only had two owners in the country. During its time in Sweden, it has undergone a careful restoration, with many worn-out parts replaced. The car also received a completely new interior and a fresh paint job, giving it a revitalized and elegant appearance.

Condition

The body is reported to be in very good condition, with no rust according to the seller. There are a few small scratches in the paint and a small dent on the trim by the driver's side door. The hardtop is in fine condition, and the soft top was replaced around four years ago. The entire body was sandblasted and repainted in its original color four years ago.

The interior has undergone an extensive restoration in Germany, where the seats were reupholstered with new hemp padding, and the leather was replaced. New carpets were also installed at the same time. The wooden trim has been refurbished and is in excellent condition.

Mechanically, the car is in outstanding condition, with no leaks noted by the seller. The brakes were recently replaced, and the tires have a tread depth of approximately 8 mm. For more details, refer to the photo material.

Service History

Most of the worn parts have been replaced, including brakes, distributor cap, wires, spark plugs, air filter, fuel pump, and filter. All dried-out bushings have also been replaced. The fuel injection system has been thoroughly inspected and an ultrasonic cleaning has been performed.

The brake discs and pads were recently replaced. The engine runs smoothly, and the transmission works seamlessly. The latest inspection was conducted in september 2025, and the inspection report is available.
