Basic Information and History

The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is an iconic American muscle car—but the COPO versions were the true hidden gems of the car world. These factory-built race cars were produced in extremely limited numbers for drag racing and are legendary among enthusiasts. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO TRIBUTE captures the rare essence, style, and spirit of the original COPO cars—enhanced with performance that leaves modern sports cars in the dust.

This example is a true sleeper—it looks like a factory-fresh 1969 Camaro with authentic XT steel wheels, correct badging, and the unmistakable Le Mans Blue paint paired with a white interior. But under the hood lies a built and fire-breathing 461 cubic inch big block engine, backed by a suite of high-performance components and functional cowl induction—just like the originals.

The car was not sold new in Sweden, and the exact number of previous owners is unknown. The odometer shows 17,600 km (post-restoration).

Fun fact: This car is built to exact COPO specifications and has undergone a full frame-off restoration down to the smallest detail. The original metal plates were preserved, and all mechanical, body, and interior elements have been restored or renewed. It looks like it just rolled off a 1969 showroom floor—but the sound, feel, and acceleration tell another story: this is a true enthusiast’s machine.

Authentic Berger emblems on the valve covers and trunk lid tie this build to a classic American performance tradition.
