Condition
Body and exterior condition: The paint is described as being in fair condition with local paint touch-ups. There is a small dent at the rear of the left rear wing, about the size of a penny. Stainless steel side moldings specific to the 1967 GTO have minor damage according to the seller. The bumpers are new, the cast chrome has some pitting. Glass is generally good, the windshield has a crack about 3 cm long on the right side.
Interior: The interior is reported to be in good condition with minimal damage. There is a small tear on the left side of the backrest and a smaller one on the left side of the seat cushion. The headliner is intact and fine without any sagging. Original steering wheel in fine condition.
Tires and rims: BFGoodrich tires in the front and Cooper Cobra in the rear, they are worn but with approved tread depth, according to the seller. Rims are Pontiac Rallye II.
Mechanics and function: The engine is newly rebuilt and according to the seller has barely run 500 km since the rebuild. It has been upgraded to HO spec with the above mentioned components. The gearbox is a TH400 which works well. The rear axle is 12-bolt, diff, with 3.31 gear ratio. The car has disc brakes in the front and the seller states that the steering and brakes work well. The air conditioning system has been removed.
Service history
The seller is a veteran car mechanic and states that the car was last serviced in February 2026. Since purchasing in 2000, the seller has lubricated the car and changed the oil regularly, normally every five hundred miles and sometimes every hundred miles. When purchased in 2000, the car was freshly painted, frame lifted and freshly painted underneath. The engine has recently been renovated and run-in with short mileage after renovation.
