Basic information and history

The 1967 Buick Electra 225 Custom is one of the most elegant and advanced full-size models from the Buick era of the 1960s, particularly known for its luxury, generous dimensions and distinctive design. The 1967 model year marks the transition to a more modern, sporty line – a true classic for the enthusiast who appreciates American grand touring at the highest level!

This example came to Sweden from the USA in 2003 (although the exact area in the U.S. is unknown). The current odometer reading is 78,433 miles (126,226 km) , and it has had five previous owners . The car's history contains interesting features: the seller states that it is rust- and dent-free, has plenty of space and has been seen at several exhibitions and cruising events. According to the seller, the car has been the subject of photos on several occasions, both from private individuals and in newspapers.

The original color is green/white but a previous owner repainted it in red/white with black details – a personal and striking color scheme. For those looking for something out of the ordinary, this is an Electra with charisma and perfect cruising characteristics: you can ride six people in it.

Body and exterior condition: The car is in good condition and is reported to be both dent and rust-free. Freshly painted in red, white and black (done by previous owner). All chrome and trim details are reported to be fine. There is a small dent on the rear bumper. However the windshield is a little worn. No problems with emblems or headlight lenses.

Interior: Some small cracks and marks in the sofas at the back and front, the headliner has no damage or marks. The dashboard has no cracks. Door panels in good condition. Steering wheel and controls in fine condition. No mold or moisture damage as the car is stored in a heated garage year-round with the current owner.

Tires and rims: Brand new – have been driven less than 500 miles.

Mechanics and function: Top-level engine – 11 bar in compression on all 8 cylinders, the gearbox shifts smoothly and quietly without any complaints. Brakes work excellently. All electrical functions, windows and electric antenna work. Very comfortable ride thanks to updated suspension and insulation.

Service history

The last service was carried out in May 2025, when the following measures were carried out: new switchless ignition, replaced distributor, new ignition cables and plugs, and oil and filter change. Since then, the car has only been driven approximately 500 km. The engine has received continuous maintenance. Unfortunately, neither documentation nor service records have been preserved, but the condition of the mechanics, engine and gearbox is very good according to the seller.

The car is exempt from inspection and had its last inspection with a passing result on 2017-08-17 .
