Basic Information and History

In 1960, Lancia introduced a new model named Flavia. The car featured front-wheel drive and a four-cylinder boxer engine. In 1963, Pininfarina presented a coupé version of the Flavia, often referred to as the "poor man's Ferrari" due to its resemblance to the Ferrari 250 GTE. The model was produced until 1969.

This 1965 Lancia Flavia Coupé is a Swedish-sold classic with a current odometer reading of 62,702 km. The original instruction manual and sales brochure are included. The ownership history is currently being investigated via the National Archives. The car has undergone a professional repaint in its original color and is in very good condition for its age.

This Flavia Pininfarina 1.8 Coupé from 1965 features a beautiful light gray exterior and a blue interior with fabric/vinyl upholstery. The wooden steering wheel and wood-look dashboard are in good condition, and the rubber mats are well-preserved. The radio is incomplete.

The electronics are in good working order, except for the incomplete radio. Mechanically, the car operates as it should.

Service History

The 1.8L engine was rebuilt in 2017 with new bearings, pistons, cylinders, and cylinder heads. The engine runs well, and the car has been driven approximately 6,000 km since the rebuild. Regular maintenance has been performed since the renovation. The brakes function properly, but the service book is incomplete. Some service records and documents are available.

The car was repainted in its original color sometime before 2005. The most recent approved inspection was on July 18, 2016, and the car is now exempt from mandatory inspections. Older inspection records are available.

The car was originally sold new in Sweden in 1965. The most recent owner purchased it in 2005.

Hello, I’m seriously interested in this Lancia Flavia and would like to ask two things: 1. If the reserve price is met, can the seller confirm they are fully committed to completing the sale, as per Bidders Highway’s rules? 2. Would it be possible to arrange a viewing of the car in the next few days before placing a bid? I would like to inspect the vehicle in person if feasible. Thank you in advance for your response.
