Basic information and history
The 1955 Ford F-100 is one of the most iconic pickup trucks from the 1950s, distinguished by its design language and robust construction. This model is particularly appreciated in enthusiast circles due to its clear hot rod and custom potential and is today a popular base for conversions.
The current example has an exciting history and was converted into a low rider with support wheels and metal skids under the body back in California in the 60s. The import to Sweden took place in 2012. Since then, the car has had two Swedish owners.
The current odometer reading is 28,610 km (17,770 miles), of which the current owner has driven approximately 12,000 km since he took over in 2013. The mileage cannot be guaranteed and the odometer has most likely turned over at least once.
The car was actually renovated in California in 2011 before being shipped across the Atlantic in 2012. A unique feature is that the car has continued to develop, including a repaint and new interior in 2013 at the custom specialist JB Garage Gävle. The car has won several awards at exhibitions such as the Stockholm Hot Rod Show, it was named Kustom of the Year at Mooneyes and Most Outstanding Car 2025 at the Forsmark Meet.
