Bentley Mk6 – 1950
Basic Information and History
This 1950 Bentley Mk6 was delivered new in Sweden to P.V. Widengren through the company L&P Widengren. Since then, it has had 21 owners, including several notable individuals – among them Hans Werthén, architect Ernst Trägårdh (owner from 1971 to 1991), and Bo Berggren (1991–2001). A complete ownership history is included with the sale.
The current owner has cared for the car since 2012. During his ownership, the Bentley has undergone extensive improvements to restore and preserve its current excellent condition for regular use. Rust repairs and paintwork have been carried out, the central lubrication and ignition systems have been refurbished, and the car has been regularly serviced. A detailed mileage log has been kept since 2012 – a rare historical document that records the car’s actual usage.
Over the past 13 years, the car has been driven approximately 18,000 km.
Equipment and Technical Updates
- Electronic ignition (replaces the original points system)
