Top 3 - Swedish

Swedish cars continued to surprise in 2025. Our selected favorites clearly showed how strong the heritage of the Swedish automotive industry is in the enthusiast market. They were cars that combined recognition with character, often with a history that aroused both nostalgia and respect. The interest did not only come from Swedish buyers, which clearly shows that these cars have a clear place internationally as well.

The Volvo P1800 is one of Volvo's most iconic gran turismo models. Designed by Pelle Petterson and made famous by the TV series Helgonet, it combines the European GT aesthetics of the 60s with Volvo's robust technology. This example has been rebuilt to a very extensive degree. The body is split in the middle and widened by 135 mm, a unique approach that makes the car distinctive and probably the only one of its kind. The front has been upgraded with power steering and MacPherson struts and the entire drivetrain comes from a 1994 Volvo 965, i.e. a 3.0-liter straight six in combination with an automatic transmission, diff-axle rear axle and ABS brakes. Furthermore, the car has been retrofitted with modern systems such as cruise control, remote locking, alarm and reversing camera.

This Volvo 850 T-5R Estate is one of the most iconic Volvos ever produced. With its distinctive "T-yellow", sporty performance and limited edition, it is a dream car for collectors and enthusiasts.

Very extensive renovation with new paint, new interior, overhauled engine and driveline and new brakes. A collector's item in excellent condition.

Top 3 - American

If there's one thing the American cars of 2025 taught us, it's that emotion always wins. Our favorites in the category were cars that made no apologies for themselves. They offered presence, sound, and design that took up space, and that made every drive an experience. At auction, they often created a broad engagement, where passion weighed at least as much as numbers and facts. Just as it should.

No expense has been spared to rebuild this Corvette Stingray into the best and sharpest thing you can drive on the street! This C3 broke a European record when it finally sold for just under 700,000 SEK. Awesome!

An incredibly beautiful 1956 Chevrolet Corvette in near-mint condition. Every detail, from its gleaming chrome to its smooth curves, has been meticulously preserved, making it a rare specimen.

Top 3 - Italian

Italian cars are hard to describe without getting emotional, and our favorites from 2025 are no exception. These were cars that brought smiles to your face even before you turned the ignition key. Design, history and driving pleasure all came together in a way that made them truly one of a kind. When these cars went under the hammer, it was clear that buyers weren’t just buying a vehicle – they were buying a dream.

Rare Giulia Sprint with great collector potential in a very good restored condition, including the period-correct aluminum brakes. As the model is an unusual transitional version between the Giulietta and later Bertone coupes, it is of particular interest to collectors and connoisseurs.

The 1964 Lancia Flavia Vignale Cabriolet is one of the most elegant Italian convertibles from the early sixties.

The La Nuova 500 premiered in 1957 and was a resounding success throughout Europe. At 2.97 metres, it fits anywhere. No car has ever been more charming than "la cinquecento".

Top 3 - German

Among the German cars sold in 2025, we were particularly drawn to examples that managed to balance performance and refinement. These were cars where every detail felt well thought out, from the drivetrain to the history. Often these were models that were already something special from the factory, but over the years have acquired that status that only comes with time, the right owner and the right condition. The result was auctions where both collectors and drivers saw the same thing – a car worth fighting for.

This 2003 BMW M5 (E39) combines the perfect balance of sportiness and elegance, a model that is often described as one of the best sports cars in its class. The vehicle has had a total of 9 registered owners, the last of whom owned the car from 2011 to 2023 before it was passed down through generations and finally sold. With a Le Mans Blue paint scheme and an incredibly well-preserved Embossleather “Strauss” interior, this is a true icon from BMW’s M division.

The Audi quattro S2 Coupé is one of the most sought-after street versions of the brand's five-cylinder turbo era. The quattro drivetrain and robust 2.2-liter turbo engine have given the model iconic status among enthusiasts, not least thanks to its mix of everyday usability and clear motorsport DNA.

With precision and engineering from one of the world's most respected Porsche tuners, this car has been transformed into something extraordinary. This is not just a car for the average enthusiast - it's a machine for those seeking the very best in both comfort and raw power. The RT12 conversion involves a thorough improvement to both the engine, chassis and aerodynamics, creating an experience that is hard to match.

Our favorite JDM cars from the year often had a clear combination of the right model, the right execution and the right feel. These were cars that represent a golden era of Japanese engineering, where motorsport influences, high build quality and character come together. When these cars appeared at auction, it was immediately noticeable – the engagement was high and the bidding was intense.

With a guaranteed mileage and a solid service history, this is a car that will suit both collectors and enthusiasts. The originality, fine condition and iconic design make it a unique opportunity on the market.

This example has also been featured in an article in Teknikens Värld 2024, giving extra weight to its history and importance in car enthusiast circles.

Nissan 300 ZX Z32 with documented low mileage, only one owner and well cared for. Often sought after by collectors and enthusiast drivers, but rarely in such pristine and well-maintained condition.

Top 3 - British

British cars had a strong presence in 2025, and our favorites in the category clearly showed why. Here, classic elegance meets a deep-rooted racing heritage, often packaged in cars with a lot of personality. These were examples that were as self-evident on a winding country road as they were at a car show. At auction, they attracted buyers who appreciate both style and history – and who know that character is not always measured in horsepower.

The Bentley S2 Continental Sports Saloon is one of the true icons of the automotive world – an uncompromising combination of British elegance, engineering and driving pleasure. This exclusive model has attracted collectors and enthusiasts worldwide over the years thanks to its refined design and hand-built quality feel. This particular example further enhances the interest with its unique Swedish history, its low mileage and its incredible condition.

This beautiful Austin Healey 3000 from 1967 is the last and most developed version of the classic model. The car was imported from the USA and was taken to Sweden for an extensive full renovation, where both the body, engine and interior underwent a complete restoration to original design. Since then the car has been driven only 7620 km.

Swedish-sold, very low mileage, fully serviced and extra equipped with ceramic brakes. A modern GT icon with 517 hp, 6-speed automatic and an unforgettable driving experience – for both the discerning enthusiast and collector.

Top 3 - French

French cars are often the ones that surprise the most, and 2025 provided several examples of just that. Our favorites in the category offered bold solutions, unique designs and a charm that is difficult to copy. They were cars that went their own way, and which for that very reason aroused strong commitment when they were sold. To the initiated, these are cars with great personality – and during the year they really got the attention they deserve.
