Basic Information & Background

We are proud to present this amazing item, a 1967 Dodge Coronet with the powerful 400 engine carefully upgraded to a high performance 452ci engine! This is a very nice and well maintained Hardtop version with a long history and guaranteed to be in the top tier of used cars.

The 1967 model belongs to the 5th generation Coronet and was available in a couple of different versions including the cabriolet, station wagon and this 2-door hardtop. This object was built on August 31, 1966 on Lynch Road Detroit Michigan USA and was then Light Blue Single tone with White Vinyl Interior. The car was then exported to Denmark, where it ran from 2002 until 2017, where it ended up in Umeå.

The car was painted in Denmark in 2007 in the color "Dark Green" with "Bumble Bee" stripes and is still in very good condition with few remarks.

The car and previous owners have also had the pleasure of ending up in a report with Wheels Magazine 2021 No. 6, which is also the same person who made the car what it is today. When the current owner bought the car, it was completely renovated & gone through in both engine, box, etc. and they have only driven about 150 miles since then. The car has received a lot of attention on div. enthusiast meets over the years and is ready for next season's event!

Condition

Exterior: The car is in a nicely restored condition. There are a couple of small imperfections/grains of dust in the paint, but none that a good car cleaner can solve relatively easily. The car is stainless with fine chrome details with the only major remark being a paint bubble with small cracks on the tailgate. The car has been well taken care of in the years since the renovation and has an absolutely incredible glow in the evening sun!

Interior: Full sofas in light leather in good original condition, likewise the door sides are original with minor marks in the corners after all the years. The steering wheel is original, as is the dashboard, which has minor marks from the sun and has therefore been covered with fabric. Other remarks are a crack in the glove box door, as well as a loose seam in the driver's seat of approx. 5 cm. A modern and powerful stereo is mounted in the glove compartment. Mechanically: The car is in top mechanical condition in both engine and drivetrain where most of the engine has been refurbished, replaced or overhauled approx. 160 miles ago

Summary

A really nice and well-renovated icon with a couple of minor points in the interior that the handy person can fix easily. An opportunity to buy an almost complete project where previous owners invested a large amount of money and time! The model has had a very positive development upwards and these fine refurbished models will only increase so take the chance to acquire a future collector car and brutal driving machine!
