Basic Information & Background

We are proud to present this amazing item and one of the most beautiful cars to come out of the USA - a 1960 Corvette! This is a C1 model with the second facelift that received a design update with the popular design language of the time with 4 lights and lots of chrome. The 1960 model also received a minor interior update in addition to the 59's with i.a. other meter house. The engine is a 4.6L smallblock V8 with twin carburettors that produces 245hp and provides nice speed resources and a really nice sound.

The car was imported from the USA and ended up first in Switzerland and then in Sweden in 2019. Before it left the USA, it had belonged to, among others, the recognized newspaper editor and enthusiast Bob Stevens and had undergone a major renovation.

Current owner bought it in 2019 and driven a couple hundred km with it and otherwise kept it in a warm garage. The car is painted in the really nice and popular color Horizon Blue paired with white tire sides, correct hubcaps, new black roof and an incredibly nice color-matched interior that gives a fantastic contemporary impression! Only 766 were produced in this color and have original matching numbers engine.

Condition

Exterior: As the pictures show, the car is in very good condition with no major complaints and has been well taken care of over the years. The fiberglass body has some occasional signs of age as well as chrome details, but overall presents itself very well. Please see our detailed pictures for more info!

Interior. The interior is renovated and the light blue upholstery is in very good condition, it also received new floor mats and various interior details. Everything is functional except for the driver's side window which needs overhaul. Please see our detailed pictures and documentation for more info!

Mechanical: The car is in a mechanically fine condition in both engine and drivetrain, the engine is original spec with dual 4-port carburetors with original 4-speed manual transmission. The seller greets that there are no remarks or known errors. Brakes were refurbished while it was in Switzerland and also the roof is newly installed which would also need an adjustment after installation.

Service history

There is a lot of documentation about both service, maintenance and renovation that is included, please see the pictures in the album. Inspection exempt and tax exempt. However, the mileage cannot be confirmed and is thus sold as "TMU" (True mileage unknown).
