A Swedish-sold classic from Alfa Romeo with only 4 previous owners (only 3 users). Used as a commuter car until 1997, then sparingly used as an enthusiast car by the first owner's heirs until 2017. The following owners have continued to use the car as a summer car, which is reflected in the well-preserved condition.

Model 75 was produced by a then financially pressed Alfa Romeo with a tight budget. The model name 75 was chosen to celebrate the brand's 75th anniversary. Few believed that the result would be an incredibly popular model and, according to many, a car that epitomizes the expression "a sum greater than its parts".
Rear-wheel drive, a sparkly engine and a chassis that really invites inspired driving have made the 75 popular both among enthusiasts and in racing. With a useful back seat, there is ample room for the whole family.

The car is lowered with shorter springs at the back, twisted torsion bars at the front, and stiffer shock absorbers from Bilstein. Thicker front anti-roll bars. The rear engine mount was replaced in connection with the replacement of hardy discs.
 

Exterior: Overall in very good condition for its age. There are some imperfections to the body after years as a family car in a central big city. Door-dings, small dents (c-pillar right side, rear passenger door, right side, and roof), and some stone chips.

The body has been partly renovated. New rear fender flares, both sides replaced by the previous owner. The fuel tank replaced.

The glass parts are in good condition.

The paintwork has been partially renovated. Front and rear bumpers were painted in the car's color (2018), rear fenders were painted when removing rust by the previous owner. Right front fender was repainted due to sun fading. Chrome and fittings are described as "Sunbleached plastic trim".

Interior: The dashboard and panel are in good condition. Renovations have been carried out on the inside - A new interior roof (2022), and new front door handles.

Mechanics: Engine and gearbox described as "Excellent, works without problems. No notches in gearbox (which is otherwise very common)". No leaks are noted and the car feels light and strong without vibrations. The Cromodora wheels limit the full steering lock but are otherwise free from rubbing. The car has some minor mechanical/electrical faults: Aftermarket seat heating does not work, ARC (trip computer) is sensitive, and sometimes warns of low washer fluid level.

There is no previous service record.
The car was last inspected on 2022-06-09. Inspected until 2024-06-30

Nice classic '80s Alfa that works reliably. No known or expected problems. The seller's comment is very telling: "I grew up in 80's with a big interest in cars, so the model is iconic! I have been a dedicated alifisti since childhood. The car I am selling is a time capsule."
These cars are still quite affordable but the experts agree that this is a future classic so get your hands on a good one (like this one) before it's too late.
