Bentley Continental T with only 3 Swedish owners since it was imported in 1998 to Sweden from Germany.

What distinguishes a T from the more common R model is that the T is 10 cm shorter and has a wider screen width over the wheel arches. The power comes from a turbocharged 6.75L V8. The power for the 1996-1997 model is an impressive 408hp with a sledgehammer torque of 800nm! 0-100km/h is done in about 6 seconds. Rather impressive for a car with a curb weight of 2,610 kg.

When launched in 1997, it was the world's most expensive car at GBP 220.000. In 1997!!! You could buy both a Ferrari 550 Maranello and a Porsche 993 Turbo for the same money. Unlike the regular R models that use a regular key, the T models had a starter button that went along with the machine-polished aluminum in the cockpit to get that cockpit feel. The entire interior is upholstered in thick genuine leather.

This car has always been serviced at authorized Bentley workshops such as Autoropa and Callisma since its arrival in Sweden. The latest maintenance conducted was the costly big C service. In addition to general mechanical maintenance with service, filter oils, etc., it also includes a review of the rear hydraulic system for the suspension.

The first user in Sweden sold the car via Callisma where the second user bought it. The same owner then left the car with Autoropa, where the current owner bought the car. The car has generally been used sparingly over the years, which is confirmed by the minimal wear and tear. However, one side of the car has been repainted due to vandalism. This is documented by the current owner and is performed by recognized professionals.

The car gives a fantastic overall impression. What is worth noting is a small scratch at the bottom of the rear bumper and you can start to see that the glue starts to unfold in the lower edge of the rear window.

This is a very rare car that does not often come up for sale and when it does prices tend to be stable. It should not be confused with the also charming but not so rare Continental R which was built in a much larger series.

The black paint and wide stance give the car a masculine almost menacing look that only grows stronger when the engine is fired up. There is something special about the look and presence of the era of Bentleys. A true Gentleman Bruiser.
