Domestically sold Olympic blue Volkswagen 1303 LS convertible from 1974 in a nice used condition. According to the register, the car has had 12 owners over the years and has run approx. 138000km. Meter setting at the inspection in autumn 2023 was approx. 37350km and the meter has turned one revolution. The car has been in the same family of owners for the past ten years and has been well enjoyed on several occasions. The car received new paint in 2014 and has been taken care of over the years with service and replacement of a number of parts.

This "Beetle-convertible" comes with the 1.6-liter four cylinder boxer engine of approx. 50hp/105nm coupled to a four-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

The body is described by the current owner as being in good condition and free of eye soring rust. New steps were installed in 2022. The paintwork was refinished in 2014. However, there are various minor notes, including a few stone chips, marks under the handle to the hood, minor marks on one screen, small bubbles and minor crack in front of the driver's door and scratch on the driver's door. The windows on the car are all original from 1974. Chrome is in good condition around the car but bumpers have minor rust attack. The rims were renovated last year and received new tires with narrow white wall. The tires have today rolled 2000 km after installation. Feel free to look through the pictures to form an idea of the condition of the body. Additional lights typical of the time from Hella have been mounted at the front but not connected. In the back, there is also a fog light in a period-typical design, but not switched on.

The interior is in good used condition. Buttons, controls and dashboard are free of damage. There is the usual wear on the driver's seat from stepping in and out, otherwise the seating surfaces are fine. Rear window has not been installed after the soft top was replaced in 2014, but window and metal frame are included. The inner roof is complete but sunny.

Engine is described as being in good condition and without axial play. Among other things, the engine has received new tops, a new silicone packing box between the engine and the box, a new treadle bearing, a new clutch and clutch cable and a new throttle cable. This work was done in 2023. The carburettor was refurbished in 2024 and a new muffler was fitted in 2022. The oil and gearbox are both leak free and the car works fine mechanically. New brake calipers, hoses and pads were fitted in 2022. During the service carried out in 2023, the car also received a switchless ignition system, new pins and ignition cables. The oil was also changed in the gearbox and a valve adjustment was carried out.
