Basic information and History

The Volkswagen Golf is one of the world's best-selling car models and has been produced in a multitude of different versions and with different engine/driveline options. In 2003, what was then the fastest model in the car's history was presented, which was also delivered with Haldex/4-Motion four-wheel drive and was the first series-produced car that could be ordered with a DSG/dual-clutch gearbox. Unlike previous GTI models, the R32 was equipped with a 3.2L VR6 engine of 241hp, which gave the model real sports car performance but in a practical "hot-hatch" package.

This example was sold new in Germany in 2003 and came to Sweden already in 2007 and has had 13 previous owners, but has been in the same family ever since 2012. The seller says that this is an original car that is in exceptionally good condition and is one of the very few that were made in Black Magic Pearl. If the model worked incredibly well as an everyday/utility car, but also as an enthusiast car, many of these have traveled many miles, been modified and today are far from original or in as good a condition as this one.

The model is still today a very affordable and fun "hot-hatch" and thanks to the low miles it is in top mechanical condition and is perfect as a fun daily driver or as a summer car!

Condition

Exterior: The seller says that the car is in fantastically nice and well-maintained condition. The car is completely rust-free in the body and has received a couple of minor fixes to restore it to this fine condition, including a front repaint due to stone chips and a couple of fixed door hinges. The car today has a flawless exterior and presents itself very well and has only driven about 6 miles since inspection. Original glass pane has some blasting and there are no marks on moldings or emblems. Even the original OZ-racing rims are renovated and in top condition with new performance tires with approx. 8 mm tire pattern. The car has also received an anti-rust treatment underneath. Interior: The interior is in very nice original condition with no major wear or marks, the seats are very nice and whole without tears and the dashboard and panel are in good condition. Mechanics: The seller says that the car runs fantastically well and faultlessly in both engine and gearbox. The recognized 3.2L six pulls nicely through the entire register and the lovely manual gearbox shifts exactly as it should. There are no noted leaks and no known mechanical faults. Last major service was performed on 2022-10-17 Power Auto Racing at 122028km and previous service records are available. All brakes are new and in very good condition. The read mileage is 122089km which is guaranteed by the seller and the last inspection was 2021-12-01, but the seller says that the car is delivered freshly inspected.
