Basic information and history

Very well maintained example of Volkswagen's most exciting modern Golf, namely the R32. The car was manufactured in July 2006 and was bought from a Volkswagen dealer in Germany by a Swedish woman. The car was driven directly home to Piteå and registered in Sweden in March 2007. The current owner bought the car in January 2020. The first owner took care of the car in an exemplary manner and always serviced the car at a VW dealer in Piteå, from 2007 to 2019. The current owner has had the car in four years and always serviced at HC Motor who are Audi and Volkswagen specialists. This is a very good example of a future collector's car that will do well on the market.

Equipped with a 3.2-liter V6 of approx. 250hp/320nm connected to a six-speed manual box and four-wheel drive from Haldex. Performance figures offer a 0-100km/h sprint of approx. 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h.

Condition

The bodywork is in very good condition and has had a ceramic protective treatment carried out two years ago. During documentation, we have only found a few remarks, including a normal amount of stone chips and scratches on the front of the car as well as small filled paint damage under the rear window, otherwise the body is free of damage. The entire bonnet was repainted 5 months ago due to stone shot and shortly afterwards protected with thin film. The headlights also have the same protective film on them. The car is described by the current owner as free from rust. The front window is the original window from 2007 with a small stone chip repaired, otherwise in good condition. The rims have some minor scratches on them. The tires have approx. 6mm pattern depth.

The interior is in good condition with minor usual wear. The driver's seat has wear from stepping in and out but no torn or cracked leather. The back seat is in good condition. Entry strips have some scratches and marks. Door sides in good condition at the back and normal condition at the front. Inner ceiling in very good condition. Steering wheel, controls and buttons in good condition. All functions in the passenger compartment work as they should.

Engine is described as being in perfect condition and has never been optimized or tuned. Gearbox and drivetrain are in good condition. In December 2020, the car received a new clutch cylinder, master cylinder, release bearing and release mechanism. Brakes are described as being in OK condition. Bearing frame bushings in the front carriage have been replaced with Audi S3 bushings and these are of higher quality.

Service history

The owner talks about service history: Full service book with all services performed at VW dealers in Piteå by the first owner, from 2007 to 2019. During the 4 years I've had the car, the service has been performed by HC Motor, VW Audi specialists. Receipts for all repairs are available, new Haldex pump 2020, ABS/ESP steering unit replaced in 2023 and gaiters for front drive axle on both sides. The last inspection was carried out in January 2024 without any comments. Today it is approx. 7000km left until the next service.

Summary

A future classic that will stand up well over the years, especially considering how usable it is as an everyday car. Perfect if you like that little something extra and special from the world's largest vehicle manufacturer!
