Basic information and History

The Mercedes CLS is a popular model based on the E-class, which was developed as a sportier model with the same beautiful design language as a coupé but with 4 doors. This is the AMG model with the highly sought after and hand built 6.2L V8 “M156”. This engine is the first V8 engine designed by AMG themselves as previous engines were always based on a standard Mercedes engine, and it was also one of the most powerful normally aspirated V8 engines in the world. In this version, the rumbling V8 produces a whopping 514 hp and offers great performance and a wide powerband for everyday driving.

This is a later model of the first generation that was imported to Sweden from Germany in 2012. The first owner in Sweden had it until 2021 and then 2 additional users. According to information from the seller and history from the Swedish Transport Agency, the car has never been driven in winter and has been parked all winter seasons.

Condition

Exterior: The seller says that the car has been well taken care of and has very nice original paintwork in sober Tanzanite blue metallic. The car presents itself very well and the only remark is a couple of minor stone chips. Interior: The interior appears to be in very good condition with no remarks except for very little wear on the step and side support on the driver's side. A future classic that is unique with its well-documented history and one of the best V8 engines from Mercedes ever.
