Basic information and History
A 1964 Ford Thunderbird with the big 390 CUI (6.4L) V8 of 315 hp. The car was sold new in Phoenix Arizona to a doctor before it came to Sweden in 2009. The car is an Anniversary model in a rather unique color combination, where the theme is white. Painted in Wimbledon white exterior with white interior and white trim. Stylish Kelsey Haynes spoke rims with white sidewalls. According to the seller, Ford produced only 450 examples of this combination in 1964.

Over the years, the car has won several awards, including finest original car. In 2014, it was included in a larger coverage in the magazine Nostalgia.

The car has had two users in Sweden since 2009.

Condition
The exterior of the car gives a very nice impression, the paint is of high standard and has probably been repainted in places, but with high quality. The chrome shines and is in very good condition. Of course, there are minor imperfections due to the car's age, as well as a small door dent on the right side. The seller refers to the image material.

In the interior, the upholstery is very well maintained and it is clean and tidy: previous owners have sat carefully here as the wear is minimal for the age of the car.

Mechanically, the car runs incredibly well, it shifts smoothly between gears, and there are no known leaks under the car. The exhaust system has probably been replaced as it is in very good condition.

The tire pattern measures 6mm all around.

Service history
The last service was done in 2023 by the seller himself, where the oil was changed and the brakes were checked.

Previous service was performed by Classic Car in Lund.

The last inspection was carried out in 2016 and the car is inspection exempt.

Summary
One of the nicer Thunderbird cars we've seen in a long time, which was also the reason the seller bought the car. A car that runs great and is in really good condition. Just turn the key and enjoy the summer.
