Basic information and history

Domestically sold Ford Mustang HT A-code from 1965 with a low 70706km on the odometer. Over the years, according to the register, the car has had 5 users. The car comes originally equipped with Rally Pac, which meant extra gauge housing. Today, the Rally Pac is a sought-after accessory on the model. Like all domestically sold HT's, they were either red or white, with red or black vinyl interior. In addition to the color choices, they also came with extra braces under the hood, thicker shock absorber mounts, floor console, front brake discs and 3-point belts. This example has a low 70706km on the odometer, which can be guaranteed by the current owner.

Equipped with the 289cui, a 4.7-liter V8 of approx. 225hp/400nm coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

Condition

The general condition of the body is described as very good and according to information the car was renovated in the early 80s. The car is free of rust and worse scratches. It is informed that there is a small door opening on the left door and a paint repair on the front edge of the bonnet. There is a small amount of stone chips, including around the wheelhouse. On the left door, a small piece of paint is scraped off. Window panes in good condition with no remarks. Chrome, moldings and lamp glass in very good condition. The rims are in good condition and new tires were fitted in 2020. There are some small paintwork and patching around joints, but the car gives a very good overall impression.

The interior is in very good condition. The red vinyl is in very good condition. The chairs are free of damage. The door panel is in good condition but the left door has a small mark in the vinyl. Right door panel without damage. Entry strips have wear and tear. The inner ceiling is in good condition. Steering wheel, buttons, controls and dashboard in very good condition. A stereo with Bluetooth is installed and tucked away. All electronics and functions in the passenger compartment work as intended.

The engine is described as flawless. Gearbox and drive as well. The brakes were renovated in 2020 and are in good condition. Mechanically, everything works as it should.

Service history

The car was serviced with an oil and filter change. Brake oil was also changed at the same time. Last inspection took place on 12/07/2018.
