1965 Ford Mustang purchased by the current owner in 2004, the same year the car was imported from the US. Engine and gearbox were completely renovated in 2022. The car was partially repainted in 2021 and the is in a nice condition. The car comes with a large amount of documentation from the years, which is always a welcoming for a collector.

Equipped with 289cui (4.7 liter) V8 of approx. 200hp connected to a three-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.

The car comes in a nice and condition free of rust and, as previously mentioned, has been partially repainted during the year 2021. A new sunroof has been installed in connection with the renovation. There are various notes in the paint, among other things, paint chips on the right rear fender, right in the gap towards the passenger door, a couple of places with small scratches, a little cracked paint just on the sheet behind the convertible top, minor marks on the left rear corner, paint runoff the size of the drop on two places, marks behind the attachment to the front bumper and paint loss in the joint above the left front light. These remarks are small in size and the overall impression is still nice on the car! The rims fitted to the car are new and so are the tires from 2023. Glass panes and lantern glass are in very good condition. The chrome looks good with only one minor note.

The red vinyl interior is in very nice condition. Buttons and controls as well. The instrument panel is complete but has various notes, including paint scratches at the steering wheel bracket. Above the door panel, against the window on the driver's side, there are also paint scratches and marks. There are also a couple of small marks here and there, but overall a very nice interior for such an old car! All functions in the cabin work as intended. A newer stereo with telephone connection has been installed as well as an additional 12v socket.

The current owner describes the condition of the engine as very good. In 2022, the engine and gearbox were completely renovated by Åke "Tucken" at Danielssons Bilservice in Skå. Driveline and gearbox were also renovated at the same time and are today in very good condition. In 2004, servo brakes were also installed, for slightly more efficient braking if necessary. Mechanically, the car works as it should.

There is plenty of previous documentation from service occasions and the like. All service on the car has been carried out by Mustang-Göran in Bålsta.

A classic Mustang convertible in a nice used condition and with only one owner since the import in 2004. An extra plus for this particular example is the large amount of documentation that the current owner took care to save on!
