The Dodge RAM 1500 AEV (American Expedition Vehicle) is originally a Dodge RAM 1500 that has received a substantial upgrade from AEV. The car has, among other things, received upgraded dampers and springs from Bilstein, snorkel, 4mm thick hood, hood with air intake, upgraded front part with a winch capacity of approx. 5 tons. This copy is 1 of 2 in Sweden.

In addition to the AEV upgrades, the vehicle comes with a huge list of various overland upgrades and products. The total purchase price of the extra equipment amounts to SEK 300,000. A selection of products is listed further down in the ad.

This Dodge RAM 1500 AEV Recruit comes with a 5.7-liter Hemi-V8 of approx. 395hp/550nm connected to four-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic transmission. The car was sold new in the USA and was imported in 2018 from Germany. In total, the car has traveled 42000 km and had 6 owners in Sweden.

In addition to good standard equipment e.g. multifunctional steering wheel, cruise control, electric seating and infotainment with navigation, the car comes with a long list of retrofitted overland products. With a sum of SEK 300,000, no expense has been spared and quality has been the focus during the upgrade. Brands from which parts have been purchased include Yakima, upTOP and Decked Dometic.

The car has received, among other things, Fronter Runner roof rack, extendable surfaces from Decked Dometic, extra work lights and remote lights, Aluminum Hard Shell roof tent, AEV rims with 35" BF Goodrich, double batteries, storage boxes, 270-degree awning, AEV snorkel, sirens , PA system, CB radio etc.

The car is described by the current owner as being in good condition and free from damage to the bodywork. There are of course minor traces of use here and there, but no renovations have been carried out and the car is also described as free from rust. No renovations have been carried out. Glass parts, moldings and emblems are all in good condition. The paintwork is also in good condition and only normal traces of use are present. The interior of the car is also in good condition. The black leather has held up well with no wear. Panels, buttons and controls as well.

Mechanically, the car is described as being in top condition. No leaks have been noted. Under the hood, everything looks nice and clean. All electronics and mechanics works as intended. 

The car is serviced according to all the rules of the art and all stamps are available in the service book. Last service was performed XXXXXX and previous records are available. There is some documentation that comes with the purchase, such as earlier service receipts and so forth. The car was last inspected/MOT'd on 2023-06-01.
