Basic information and History

Originally from Canada, this fantastically nice and well-documented Dodge Challenger has lived its life in Sweden since 1976. All owners have taken very good care of the car and it comes with 2 full binders with information, receipts, inspection reports and other info since the car was new. We have rarely seen a car so well documented and are very impressed with the work that went into gathering all the info.

The car was delivered from the factory with a 360 engine but over the years one owner made the wise decision to replace the engine with an upgraded 340 engine which despite the smaller size is a much better engine and sought after upgrade. The seller has owned the car for over 17 years and had it mostly to screw on and upgrade, but has of course still enjoyed a few miles in it over the years.


Condition

Exterior: The seller says that the car is in very good condition with no complaints except for a few small marks including on the right front fender, drivers side door and also one on the right rear fender. The body is completely stainless and the chrome is also in good condition. Front fenders have been replaced and the car has been repainted by a previous owner. Interior: The interior upholstery has also been replaced/upholstered sometime over the years and still presents itself very well. The upholstery has very little wear, as does the steering wheel, headliner and carpet. Noticed that the instrument panel has a small crack on the left side. All controls and gauges work and there is an upgraded tachometer mounted in front of the steering wheel in its original location. Mechanics: The car runs fantastically well in both engine and gearbox and has no complaints about the drivetrain. The engine is now an upgraded 340ci with a different cam, higher comp, Edelbrock performer tops, Edelbrock intake, carburetor and MSD electronic ignition. There is also an aluminum radiator on the car and headers. In terms of chassis, it is upgraded with parts from, among others, Heidts Performance and the review with new bushings, refurbished brakes and rear axle. Gearbox is an upgraded 727 box.
