Basic information and history

1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Longbed in good used condition for a recent 50 year old. Imported in 2017 from the USA and has since had 5 owners in Sweden. V8 of 292 cubic inches (approx. 4.8 liters) connected to a 3-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. According to the manufacturer, engine power is stated to be approx. 145hp/310nm.

Equipment and options

The Cheyenne model differs from other models of the C10 by being equipped with full carpeting, chrome bumpers, wood trim around the body and die-cut vinyl upholstery. In photos of the car, you can see that even the B-pillars and the front have painted details in line with that punching.

Condition and service history

Exterior: The vehicle has not undergone exterior renovation but comes with a nice patina. The paint is partially sun-bleached in places and there are minor repairs, paint chips and small cracks. Small rust bubbles can be found on the lower edge of the doors and in the door frame on the right B-pillar. In general, the car looks to have coped well with rust considering its age. No deep rust or damage is reported, however there is a small dent on the bonnet. As the pictures show, the underside of the car looks good. The chrome on the vehicle is said to be in good condition. The original rims are also in good condition and the tires have approx. 5mm pattern depth left. Interior: The interior is in good condition and a newer retro stereo is fitted but not connected. Nice details like die-cut vinyl on the seats and a C10 painted on the glove box. The vinyl covered roof is also in good condition. New flatbed model LoPro from Truxedo is mounted and can be easily removed, or rolled up towards the cab. Mechanical: The owner informs that the car is in good condition both mechanically and electrically. The electronics have been checked and all gauges and lights work. Glass and lanterns are in good condition. The last service was carried out by the owner this year with an oil and filter change. Previous service documentation is unfortunately not available, but the condition indicates that the vehicle has been cared for over the years. The engine and gearbox are described as working well despite the vehicle's age. No leaks have been noted. Brake pads, drums and brake pads are described as being in good condition. Carburetor and converter are newly refurbished. The car was last inspected on 2021-08-16.
