Basic Information & Background

Although the first BMW 6 series came already in 1976, the second generation did not come until 2003 during the Chris Bangle era, and although it had a completely new modern design, it still retained many elements of the design language of the first generation. A large luxury coupe/ GT Tourer with big engines.

This object is a 635d with the nice straight 6 diesel of 286hp and was imported from Germany back in 2008 where it had been a display sex at a BMW dealer in Berlin. It has had only 2 private users here in Sweden and has been well taken care of. The car was specced in stylish Tiefsee blue metallic with bright interior and lots of equipment.

Condition

Exterior: The car is in very good condition and well cared for. Normal wear and tear is to be expected but is present and the only note is a mark on the right rear screen. Please see the pictures for more info!

Interior: The interior is also in very good condition with a note of some wear on the driver's seat.

Mechanical: Fully serviced and inspected June 2022 with no comments. Last service, the oil in the gearbox was also changed. It has received a new PDC sensor in the rear which, according to info, needs to be updated in the software to work.

Summary

A really nice copy of a future classic with a relatively rare and sought-after spec. The car has a fine history and can be considered a very affordable alternative in the class.
