Basic information and History

Domestically sold Volvo PV 544 Sport from 1965 with only three users including current owner! The car was sold new in Härnösand to a man whose son then inherited the car. The current owner bought it from his son when he was 77 years old. The first registration certificate is still with the vehicle. Mileage stands at 142000km The car is in very good used condition and ready to hit the road again.

Condition

The body is in a consistently good condition and, of course, rust-free. There are a few minor dents, among other things, on one of the doors and around the moulding. A small amount of stone chipping is of course present, but nothing conspicuously bad or in need of action. The car has previously been repainted, but the previous owner did not know when this was done. Windscreen is in good condition with newly replaced rubber strip. Chrome, moldings and lamp glass are in good working condition. Sheet metal rims with capsule and chrome ring in usable condition with approx. 6mm tread depth left on older tires.

The interior is in very good condition and has held up well over the years. Black vinyl with striped fabric on seating surfaces in good condition with no damage. The inner ceiling is also in good condition. Instrument panel, steering wheel, controls and buttons are all in good working condition and all functions in the cabin are as they should be. The car has had a Knutsson 3002 radio installed.

Engine is described as being in good condition. Gearbox and drivetrain as well. Also brakes. All mechanics work as intended and under the hood it looks clean and tidy.

Service history

The car had a serviced carried out two weeks ago by the owner. The service book is missing, but the good condition speaks for a well-maintained car. The last inspection was carried out in 2016 and the car is now inspection exempt.
