After several years as a designer at Aston Martin, Ford and BMW, Henrik Fisker started his own brand. In 2008, Fisker showcases the Karma luxury sedan at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The first car was delivered in 2011 and the focus was very clearly on a large luxury electric car with sustainable production and materials.

This Fisker Karma was sold new in France to a gentleman in Nice. The car was imported to Sweden in 2020 and the current owner is the only one on Swedish soil, i.e. a total of two owners since 2013. Fisker Karma comes in hybrid format with a 2-liter turbo four and two electric motors, with a total output of approx. 590hp/1300nm and rear wheel drive. In terms of performance, the 0-100 sprint takes under 6 seconds. The mileage is currently approx. 68000 km, and can be guaranteed. According to information, there are supposed to be 26 Fisker Karma in Sweden, so it is one of the rarer hybrids to own.

This Fisker Karma comes with the EcoSport-package and as standard with a high level of equipment. The focus is on a clean and stylish interior with luxurious materials instead of an abundance of screens. The car has everything you need for comfortable long journeys on the continent, such as an infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, various assistance systems, several driving modes and more.

The car is described by the current owner as rust-free and in good condition. The paintwork is in good working order and remarks according to the owner include clearcoat damage on the tailgate and stone splashes on the sides of the car, under the plastic dip. Some faded emblem and chrome strip on driver's side have minimal marks. The car got a new windshield in 2022 but has a stone chip repaired on the passenger side.

Interior dashboard and panel are described as being in good condition. The interior roof has a small stain at the back but is otherwise fine. The material on the inside holds up well but there is a small mark in the leather on the driver's seat. Buttons and controls look nice.

Mechanically, everything works as intended. The engine and gearbox are described by the owner as working well and without any complaints. Leaks have not been noted on the car. Brakes are also in good condition. The car's rims are in good condition and the tires come with approx. 6 mm pattern depth left.

The car needs a reboot and update of its system. The car can be driven as intended, but the reversing camera and blue tooth are disabled. The car starts with fahrenheit and miles on the instrumentation. It is easy to change over to km/h and celsius, but needs to be done at every start. Current owners can pay for the update, but not travel costs to Denmark where the nearest computer is. The work takes just under ten minutes to complete. The work can also be carried out with a contact in Holland if a summer trip were to be planned down on the continent!
